We are very excited to announce that Bluebird Man was nominated for an Emmy Award by the Northwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences! The nominees were announced on Friday and we were very happy to see our film nominated under the category for Environmental Program/Special. Check out the full list of nominees here.
The Northwest Chapter of the Academy serves the states of Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Montana and Alaska. The Northwest Regional Emmy Award Ceremony will be held June 6th in Seattle. We’ll be holding our breath that Bluebird Man takes home the award! The competition is stiff – the other nominees in our category include an episode of Oregon Public Broadcasting’s excellent series Oregon Field Guide, as well as an episode of the KTCS series In Close called Puget Sound Perils. Regardless of the outcome in June, we are honored to be nominated alongside such amazing programs!
If you haven’t seen Bluebird Man yet be sure to check it out and let us know what you think – do we deserve to take home the Emmy??
