Today’s guest on the show in Gena Bentall, who has been working with and studying Sea Otters for over a decade and is the program coordinator for a new project called Sea Otter Savvy.
Sea Otter Savvy is essentially an outreach effort aimed at teaching people who recreate along the California coast how to interact with Sea Otters without creating harmful disturbances to the population. We’ve been working with Gena and Sea Otter Savvy over the past few months to produce a short video that will help aid in their outreach efforts, and we’re very excited to be releasing this video today alongside this interview with Gena!
