Today’s guest on the show is the director of the Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival (Muestra de Cine Medioambiental Dominicana), Natasha Despotovic.
I was fortunate enough to attend this year’s event in the Dominican Republic, and it was truly a very special film festival. We had four screenings of our film Bluebird Man – each one in a different city – and I was blown away by the reception that the film received and the reactions that we got from the mostly student audiences.
During my stay in the Dominican Republic I was able to sit down with Natasha for the interview featured in this episode, and she has some fantastic stories about how the festival was founded and how she become interested in film and environmental issues.
