Bluebird Man DVD


Bluebird Man is a half hour documentary film about bluebird conservation and citizen science. The film follows the story of 93-year-old Al Larson, who has been monitoring and maintaining over 300 nestboxes for bluebirds in Southwestern Idaho for the past 35 years. The DVD includes the full film, plus several bonus scenes. Bonus scenes include, “Trapping Western Bluebirds in British Columbia”, “Guarding nestboxes from predators in Upstate New York”, “Idaho’s bluebird licence plate”, and “Bluebirds and Wildfire”.
