• Membership in the Wild Lens Collective means you are part of a team that shares a common vision for the future of our planet. It means that you are not afraid of the reality of the situation faced by our planet, you remain dedicated to fight for a better world, and you recognize that collaboration is essential in this fight.

    • A strong passion for conservation storytelling and a desire
      to work as a part of a team to forward the mission and goals of Wild Lens.

    • A solid understanding of the mission and goals of the Wild Lens Collective.

    • Must agree to help promote the Wild Lens Collective brand through the projects you are engaged with and/or the content you produce.

      • Must submit a proposal for your vision of collaboration with Wild Lens over the first year of membership.

      • Explain how your personal goals align with Wild Lens’ mission.

      • What you hope to gain through your membership in the collective.

      • How your involvement will benefit the collective and it’s membership.

    • Leave your ego at the door.

      • You must treat other collective members as equals, even if they have less experience than you.

      • You must be willing to work with a team, share ideas and listen to other people’s ideas.

      • You must be willing to change your mind and shift your perspective as you learn new things and hear from other people.

  • Opportunity to post written content or guest produce audio and/or video content for our various platforms.

    Guest blog posts to the Wild Lens website are strongly encouraged, along with social media takeovers. We also have opportunities to guest-produce episodes of our ongoing podcast series, Eyes on Conservation.

    The content that you produce and the projects you’re involved with get a boost in exposure by associating them with the Wild Lens brand.

    Wild Lens already has an established track record as a central player in conservation filmmaking and podcasting and will come to be known as a leading voice in environmentally and socially ethical storytelling. We have a well-established online platform for releasing video, audio, and written content, as well as established connections with prominent mainstream platforms for a variety of different types of content.

    Access to a network of extremely talented people who share your passion for conservation.

    The collective will allow you to build a team for whatever project you envision. If you have a budget, we can connect you with the most trusted and talented crew members. If you don’t have a budget, or your budget is extremely limited, we can pair you with eager interns looking for experience.

    You have a say in the governance of Wild Lens.

    Your opinion matters, and your fellow collective members will listen to your ideas and give you opportunities to influence the future direction of the organization.

    Access to opportunities for paid gigs.

    Wild Lens continues to function as a video/audio producer for hire and will be seeking paid contracts with like-minded non-profits, university researchers, and anyone else seeking conservation-oriented production, marketing, and storytelling services. As a member of the collective, you have access to these paid contract opportunities.

    Using the Wild Lens brand to seek contracts

    – as a member of the collective you also may use your association with Wild Lens to solicit your services as a conservation-oriented content producer. You can join a team within the collective that works together to seek these types of paid contracts

    – you get the benefit of collaboration on proposals, as well as the clout that comes with being associated with a well-established brand.


    Fundraising

    – you’ll have access to fundraising advice from experts on the Wild Lens leadership team, plus you’ll have the opportunity to submit a proposal to have your project selected to be the focus of a Wild Lens Collective, sponsored crowdsource funding campaign.
